Coder's 2 Products
Free, open-source tier of Coder for hobbyists and small teams. Provides unlimited workspaces and templates within a single organization, web and desktop IDE support (VS Code, JetBrains, Cursor, Jupyter, etc.), SSO via OpenID Connect, access to the web UI/CLI/API, AI coding agent task support (1,000 Agent Workspace Builds included), and community support via Discord and GitHub. Does not include AI Gateway or Agent Firewall.
Enterprise-grade paid tier of Coder, billed annually per user. Includes everything in Community plus multi-organization access controls, audit logging, high availability (multiple server replicas), workspace proxies for global low-latency relays, resource quotas per org and user, unlimited Git and external auth integrations, OIDC group and role sync, group and user RBAC, custom roles, customizable branding, automatic idle workspace shutdown, and ticket-based global support with SLA. An optional AI Governance Add-On (per-user) can be added to Premium seats. Previously sold as 'Coder Enterprise' in 2024.
