Ready to supercharge your procurement process? Today we're excited to unveil a suite of new features that enhances the Intakes arm of our procurement workflows. These updates make the intake process more intuitive, flexible, and automated, simplifying the purchase of both SaaS and non-SaaS products through Vendr.

Conditional Logic

Conditional Logic is like a master key that unlocks customized paths in your procurement process, ensuring the right questions appear based on previous responses and specific needs, just as a master key opens multiple pathways in a building.

Use conditional logic in your intake process to add questions based on previous responses. This feature enables customized and automated workflows tailored to specific conditions or answers, simplifying the creation of both SaaS and non-SaaS workflows.

For example, you can pair conditional logic with request categories so that different questions appear for different categories. This means a particular set of questions may appear for hardware purchases, while another set may appear for software purchases.

Preview and Test a Workflow Template

Now that you’ve incorporated conditional logic into your workflows, you can test the logic before going live to ensure a seamless experience for your team. Enter Test Mode to evaluate all aspects of a workflow, including the intake process, steps, questions, documents, conditional logic, comments, and notifications. This feature allows you to confidently verify your workflow and conditional logic, understand how webhooks and integrations will function, and preview in-app notifications and the contract-saving experience.

Manage Request Categories

Once you have built and tested your Conditional Logic, you can use Request Categories to route purchases to the appropriate process based on the purchase type. For example, if a requester is purchasing hardware, they can simply click “hardware” in your new purchase request intake and your pre-built Conditional Logic will ensure they follow the correct process you built for a hardware purchase.

Easily Share Intakes

It's now simpler than ever to get your requesters to the right place when submitting an intake. After sharing a link to the intake, your team will be directed to the right stage of the intake process. This not only saves time for current users but also makes it easier for new users to start making requests easily.
